About BugLab

BugLab LLC was founded in 2003 by a small group of scientists and engineers with a passion for developing better measurement equipment for customers involved in fermentation and cell culture work. BugLab's first product, the BugEye^® 100, was the first of its kind and was designed to yield highly accurate, real-time measurements of biomass. This product has been further refined and improved with the debut of the BE2100 Biomass Monitor, designed to monitor cell growth in all-glass bioreactors as well as those with glass viewing ports. This sensor non-invasively measures Optical Densities (OD) from 0.1 to 300+ without changing sensors and with no risk of sensor fouling or culture contamination. BugLab has developed other similar products to help customers solve their measurement challenges in various industries including biopharma, biofuels and microbiological research.
